Let’s Delve Into the Realm Of Conspiracy Theories

It’s been awhile since I wrote something of a conspiracy theory type nature, so I thought I’d dip in to the realm of fiction/fantasy/prediction once again and see how well it goes. Some of what I’m about to say is based upon truth, while some is based solely upon things I’ve heard or how I see things playing out if certain events occur as I think they may. The reason I’m doing this is, one, I want to be on record as having said this could happen if it ever does, and two, I want you to start thinking about the repercussions, or possible reasons why your government takes certain steps; while telling you complete and utter lies why they are doing these things. As one of my favorite sayings goes, “Trust no one, question everything.”

We’ve all heard the talk of how President Trump is seeking to impose some kind of a national Red Flag Law in order to prevent future mass shootings by confiscating the guns of those who MIGHT commit them at some future date based upon certain…RED FLAGS of course. As far as I’m concerned these kinds of laws are wrong on so many levels that I don’t know where to begin in arguing against them.

Let me begin by saying that if you have not done anything that should preclude you from owning a firearm they cannot deprive you of the right to be armed for your own defense. END OF STORY!!! Saying that you MIGHT commit a future crimes due to the existence of certain warning signs, or RED FLAGS is akin to the cops sitting outside a liquor store and revoking the drivers licenses of those purchasing alcohol because they MIGHT commit a DUI.

And since I routinely deal with the constitutionally deficient I feel I must also tell you that the Constitution prohibits the enactment of such laws. Article 1, Section 9 states, “No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.” Do you know what either of those two things are; Bills of Attainder or Ex Post Facto Laws? Here, let me educate you.

Let me begin with an Ex Post Facto Law. An Ex Post Facto Law, meaning after the fact, is a law that makes something illegal that was legal when it was done. Since we’re discussing the right to keep and bear arms, let’s use a gun purchase as an example.

Let’s say someone buys a certain type of gun which the existing law permits them to buy, (something I think is wrong to begin with because the 2nd Amendment does not limit us as to what kind of arms we can buy), and then the government turns around and passes a law making those guns illegal to own. Now, the person who bought their gun legally is a criminal unless they surrender that gun to authorities. THAT is an Ex Post Facto Law; the criminalizing of something that wasn’t a criminal offense when it was done.

But it is Bills of Attainder that I believe these Red Flag Laws fall under. A Bill of Attainder is any kind of law that declares a person, or group of people, guilty of some crime without a trial; or due process of the law as it is called.

These Red Flag Laws have been worming themselves into existence and our culture for quite some time now, and now they want to enact them on a much grander scale. Did you know that some returning veterans have been denied the right to keep and bear arms due to their having being diagnosed with PTSD or some other so-called mental illness? Did you know that, in some places, if you purchase marijuana from a store in a State where it is legal to recreationally smoke it, you may be denied the right to purchase a new firearm?

There is no recourse for your right having been denied you, they just stamp it DENIED and return it to you without the means of asking what their justification was. This is one form of a Red Flag Law; or Bill of Attainder because your right has been denied you without charges being brought against you or any due process of law.

Now Trump wants to enact this on a much larger scale, increasing the criteria that can see a person’s rights denied them…all done under the guise of preventing future mass shootings. Who gets to establish what the criteria is for denying someone the right to keep and bear arms? Who gets to decide whether a person fits the established criteria and should have their guns taken from them?

What if someone simply doesn’t like you, or is afraid of you because you own a lot of guns? What if they call the police and tell them that they fear for their life around you or say that they have heard you make threatening or revolutionary statements? What if law enforcement then comes to your home and takes your guns and you have no recourse but to either surrender them or die defending your right?

In a court of law we are at least given the chance to confront our accusers, but under these type laws we do not have that right; our rights can be denied us based upon faceless accusations and innuendos.

What scares me is that the same thing exists as it pertains to who can be categorized as a domestic terrorist by the Department of Homeland Security or the FBI. Both of those agencies have published lists outlining certain traits that categorize a person as a possible domestic terrorist. I pay close attention to such lists and so should you; especially considering how many people get upset when others are stereotyped just because they exhibit certain attributes.

Among the things I have seen that may classify a person as a possible domestic terrorist was the support for Ron Paul when he was running for president, strong ant-government sentiments, pro-militia sentiments, strong support for the 2nd Amendment, strong pro Liberty sentiments, and the belief that the Federal Reserve should be abolished. Those aren’t all the things that might classify a person as a possible domestic terrorist by DHS and the FBI’s guidelines, but they are all traits that I, and many others in this country, exhibit.

So what, now I’m a domestic terrorist because I believe in the same things that those who fought for America’s independence did? If that truly is how people think about me, then SO-FUCKING-BE-IT!!! As Patrick Henry so aptly said, “If that be treason…then make the most of it.”

I know I’ve used this quote many times, but in this instance you really should pay close attention to what it says, as I feel it may soon apply to YOU just as much as it applies to me if you don’t tread lightly in your support for laws such as the ones being proposed now. The quote I’m talking about comes from historian Charles Austin Beard, and states, “You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the great struggle for independence.”

You may not be a dangerous citizen now because you still bow down and worship at the altar of big government, but what if government, at some future date, does something that really pisses you off…what then; will you become a dangerous citizen when you begin voicing your outrage over its abuse of power?

So, if DHS and the FBI can categorize people like me as potential domestic terrorists, I’m pretty certain our names are also on the lists of those whose guns they would like to see taken from us. And if THAT can happen, then if at some future point the government does something you really don’t like, your guns could also be taken from you under the same pretext.

See what I mean about the danger of laws such as these Red Flag Laws? There is a term they use for such laws, and you may have heard of it; they call it a slippery slope. They call it back because it is exactly like a slippery slope; once you lose a right it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to get it back.

On June 5, 1788 Patrick Henry stood before the Virginia Ratifying Assembly and warned of the conditions that currently exist, and will only be made worse if we allow these Red Flag Laws to go into effect, “Oh, Sir, we should have fine times indeed, if to punish tyrants, it were only sufficient to assemble the people. Your arms wherewith you could defend yourselves, are gone; and you have no longer an aristocratical; no longer democratical spirit. Did you ever read of any revolution in a nation, brought about by the punishment of those in power, inflicted by those who had no power at all?”

They may tell you that these laws are designed to keep you safe, but ultimately they are being written to give the government almost carte blanch power to confiscate the guns of those they view as threats to its existence; meaning patriots. And isn’t that exactly what happened a few hundred years ago at Lexington and Concord?

Now what might be the conditions that could cause you to awaken from your political blindness and turn against your government? Before I answer that I need to do some explaining about something we all take for granted; Social Security.

People think that they have a certain amount of their pay withheld from them, which is then deposited into an account and then returned to them, with interest, upon their reaching retirement age. That’s not necessarily so. Sure, a computer record keeps track of how much you contribute and calculates your benefits based upon that, but the money you end up getting is being paid by those who actively contribute to the Social Security Trust fund. So, while you are contributing right now through your payroll deductions, your money is going towards those who are actively collection Social Security benefits. There’s a phrase they use to describe such a condition; I believe it’s called a Ponzi Scheme, and Ponzi Schemes often result in criminal charges being leveled at those who operate them. So why do we consent to participation in a government operated Ponzi Scheme?

The thing is, for Social Security to keep working there must be enough people paying into the fund for the continuation of payments to those collecting from it. I’ve read reports that estimate by the year 2034 Social Security will begin to pay out more than it takes in, meaning it will start going bankrupt. I’ve already seen hints that they are trying to stave this catastrophe off by raising the age you can collect full benefits from 65 to 67; making you work longer before you become eligible to collect in the hope that you die before you can collect anything, or that once you retire you soon die so that they don’t have to pay you for decades.

The thing is, Social Security is in danger of going broke; and whether it happens in ten years or twenty is beside the point. Now comes the conspiracy theory part. I’ve begun to hear rumors that the reason they want to confiscate as many guns as possible is because the government has plans in place to confiscate your money from your 401k and IRA accounts to shore up Social Security.

Like I said, I am only throwing this out there, I neither say it is true, nor do I say it is all bullshit. As far as I’m concerned I wouldn’t put it past those cocksuckers to do something like that, but that’s just me; I don’t trust my government to do what’s right if their lives depended upon it.
The question is, do you trust your government to NOT do that; and what are you going to do if that becomes a reality? Will you then become a dangerous citizen because you become incensed that they stole your retirement money? Will you begin saying the same things I’ve been saying for years, that government is evil and it should be abolished?

Like I said at the very beginning, this is all, for the time being, all conspiracy theory type stuff, the ramblings of a paranoid mind. But as the old saying goes, “Just because your paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.”

So if I were you I’d keep these thoughts stored away in the back of your mind, or you can heed what I say at your own peril like you always do; the choice is always yours to make. But, if it comes to pass that it happens just as I said it might, don’t say you weren’t warned.
