“The most terrifying words in the English languate are;
I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
I’m going to try to make ya’ll a promise; I’m gonna try harder to be more specific when I use the words freedom and liberty. I often interchange those words when I try to express an idea, but the problem is they don’t mean the same thing. You could be locked in a jail cell and have a certain amount of freedom, but what you don’t have is liberty. As long as there are walls keeping you imprisoned; rules dictating what you can do, and when you can do it; and people whose sole job is to enforce those rules upon you, you will not have liberty.
Freedom is one of those words that could be taken to mean a lot of things, and could fall anywhere on a wide spectrum. I am free to do a lot of things. I am free to decide what I will eat today; I am free to decide what I will do with my time off from work; I am free to either lounge around in a vegetative state watching mindless drivel on the TV or to use my time wisely and further my knowledge.
But that doesn’t mean I have liberty. If someone breaks into my home, am I free to shoot them and then call the police and tell them to come collect the body? No, I’m not; society, and government, have erected rules, or laws if you will, which dictate the circumstances under which each and every one of us can defend what is rightfully ours; including our lives, our families, and our property. So in that regard, we are NOT free.
Freedom is an extension of liberty, but it is only one aspect of it. Liberty is the ability to enjoy all the freedom that life has to offer, so long as in so doing you don’t deny anyone else that same right. Liberty is the ability to live your life without others, be it society or government, placing any restrictions upon your actions.
So, yes we do have freedom in America, but we don’t have liberty; and we haven’t since the day we were born. Just last night I was told by someone that I don’t mince words. That’s true, I tend to speak what’s on my mind, and I don’t sugar coat things to make them more palatable; and for those of you with limited vocabularies, that means better tasting or easier to swallow. So, what I’m about to say might offend some for my use of certain descriptive words and phrases, but I’m just telling you how I see things in America today.
Have you ever heard someone tell someone else that they are going to make them their bitch, or that you’re my bitch? Basically, when someone is someone else’s bitch, they are owned by that other person. Well guess what folks, we’re all bitches. From the moment we enter into this world a big red, white and blue dick is shoved up our ass; and you wanna know whose dick it is? That dick belongs to your good buddy, Uncle Sam.
From the day we’re born we are lied to and indoctrinated into believing we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, when freedom should not be our ultimate goal; liberty ought to be what we strive for. Our teachers instruct us, (indoctrinate would be a better word), that we live in the land of the free and that government exists for the purpose some ass clown with an opinion whose written a text book says it does.
The media reinforces what we are taught in school; shaping and forming our opinions on the issues, with the only difference being whether we’re getting screwed on the left side of the fence or the right side. It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you’re on, you’re still getting screwed.
All those who seek to control us, to deny us our liberty, wrap their bullshit up in the American flag, and sugarcoat their deceit by whispering patriotic slogans and catchy catch phrases into our ears, but if you were to peel away the layers of deceit you would see the truth; they seek to control us – to own us.
Vladimir Lenin is quoted as saying, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” Now whether or not Lenin actually spoke those words is questionable, but that does not, for an instant, diminish the truth of those words. If you can indoctrinate 4 years worth of children into a certain ideology, those children will then grow up and indoctrinate the youth that follow them into the same ideology, and it then becomes a self-perpetuating cycle. More importantly though, that tactic can shift the beliefs of an entire country in a very short time away from the principles upon which it was established.
Let me give you an analogy and see if that helps you grasp that concept. Let’s say you work in a place that has a high turnover rate for employees; with new people constantly needing to be trained to fill the openings made when others quit.
Now let’s say, that at some point in time. Those that do the training don’t train these new hires regarding all the responsibilities of the job, or they train them to do the job incorrectly. Now if the system, or the company in this instance, does not keep a close eye on how these new hires are being trained, then they will become qualified and one day begin training other new hires based upon how they were trained. Eventually, if that cycle continues, you will have a workplace full of people who won’t, or don’t know how to do the job correctly.
That is very similar to what has happened in America regarding our educational system; with the only difference being that the government has established the curriculum which the schools them follow to indoctrinate the youth of America.
I’ve often wondered if some of the greatest minds this country has ever produced would have turned out the way they did had they been forced to learn math using Common Core. Who in the hell came up with Common Core anyway, and what were they thinking? Were they intentionally trying to confuse kids; turn them into blithering idiots? If there was any justice in America, the inventor of Common Core would be marched outside, tied to a pole, and shot by a firing squad!
Sorry, went off on a tangent there. The point is those who control what we are taught, control those who are taught. They don’t need to use force against the masses to make them obey laws that violate their liberty, they teach us that those laws are for our own good and that it is the duty of every patriotic, LAW ABIDING citizen to obey them, to respect and follow the orders given us by those in positions of authority.
What this does is it creates a class of citizenry who are slaves, and don’t even realize they are slaves. They are given festivals, holidays such as the 4th of July, or presidential elections to keep them pacified; or falsely believing they are participating in what those who fought to free themselves from tyranny were fighting for back in 1776.
They are told that July 4th is the day America celebrates its freedom, but what they don’t tell you is that the 4th of July is the day America gained its liberty back after having been ruled by a tyrant; and I’ve already explained the difference between liberty and freedom. Hell, if you’re being raped by a big ole red, white and blue dick, you’re free to cry out, or to remain silent and take it…but your still getting fucked regardless of the choice you make!
We are taught that it is our civic duty to vote; to participate in the great American process of choosing our leaders. What good does choosing leaders do when the choices they offer us suck; they are all crooks and shysters, and the system we are electing them to seeks not to preserve our liberty, rather it seeks to impose control over those who elect them.
From the day you are born you are assigned a number, you become a piece of property to government, with your property, the fruits of your labor, and even your very life, belonging to government. Try not paying your income or property taxes if you don’t believe me, they will take everything you own to make sure they get their money; not your money, THEIR MONEY.
I often feel like Bob Seger must have felt when he penned his song, Feel Like a Number:
To workers I’m just another drone
To Ma Bell I’m just another phone
I’m just another statistic on a sheet
To teachers I’m just another child
To IRS I’m another file
I’m just another consensus on the street
Gonna cruise out of this city
Head down to the sea
Gonna shout out at the ocean
Hey it’s me
And I feel like a number
Feel like a number
Feel like a stranger
A stranger in this land
I feel like a number
I’m not a number
I’m not a number
Dammit I’m a man
I said I’m a man
What upsets me the most is not that the people of this country have been lied to, it is the fact that the people of this country, for the most part, refuse to accept any evidence of the lie. They have been indoctrinated so thoroughly that no matter how much evidence one provides which prove their beliefs to be based upon lies; they refuse to change their beliefs to conform to the facts.
They accept freedom when it is within their grasp to have liberty if they would just have the courage to seek it; and then defend it once it has been obtained. This phenomenon is not something new, it is not something that has occurred because of the actions of either the Democrats or the Republicans; it is something that has been going on since the period immediately following the end of the American Revolution; with the only difference being the degree to which the people of this country have surrendered liberty and accepted tyranny.
In 1788, when the constitution was still only a proposal for a system of government, Patrick Henry was amazed, saddened, and angered over the radical transformation that was about to take place; and he did everything in his power to prevent that transformation from taking place. Using sarcasm, as only Patrick Henry could, he told his fellow delegates to the Virginia Ratifying Assembly, “Perhaps an invincible attachment to the dearest rights of man, may, in these refined, enlightened days, be deemed old fashioned: If so, I am contented to be so: I say, the time has been when every pore of my heart beat for American liberty, and which, I believe, had a counterpart in the breast of every true American.”
Oh how that must have stung those who supported this new, this wonderful system of government; a system that provided the people no means by which they could defend their rights or their liberty against the government it proposed.
But it does Neal; we can vote those who write bad laws out of office. Sure, we can vote bad politicians out of office, but do our votes also repeal or revoke the bad laws they helped pass? Do our votes tell the police and federal agents to stop enforcing those laws? Do our votes tell those who supported them in the first place that the will of a majority cannot diminish or deny the rights of the individual?
So tell me, how effective has your vote been to restore your liberty, to restore the many rights your government has stripped you of? Has your vote repealed the Patriot Act; has it abolished the NSA, the TSA, the DEA, the BATF, or the FDA…just to name a few tyrannical agencies within the government? Has your vote restored fully your right to keep and bear the arms of your choice, without permits, fees, or any kind of restrictions?
You just keep on believing that your vote can restore your liberty or your rights; and while you regale me with stories of how great your candidate is, I have some prime real estate for sale located in the Alpha Centauri Star system for sale too.
The whole system is rigged against you. You have shysters, crooked politicians, and outright whores to big business writing our laws, then you have an entire army comprising federal and local law enforcement that don’t give a whit about whether those laws are just, or if they infringe upon your rights or liberty – their job is to enforce the law, and that’s exactly what they do; and if try to tell them that the law violates your rights, then you’ll quickly find out how much that fact concerns them…after you remove the taser barbs from your back, or have the bullets removed from your chest…and that’s assuming you survive your foolish attempt to convince them that they are enforcing tyranny upon you that is.
Your vote doesn’t matter, your feeble attempt to change government isn’t going to change the fact that your government exists for one purpose, to control you. We are cattle to them, free range slaves who are reduced to enjoying a few paltry freedoms when liberty could be within our grasp if we would just withdraw our support for the very system that enslaves us, and quit playing their fucking game of voting.
In 1968 the Monkees, a pseudo rock group for you youngsters, released their fifth studio album entitled The Birds, The Bees and the Monkees. On it was a song entitled Zor and Zam, about two petty tyrant kings who declared war against each other. The song goes on to explain that, although the kings had declared war, no one showed up to fight it.
Can you imagine the shockwaves that would take place if, on the day of the upcoming 2020 election, not ONE SINGLE PERSON showed up to vote? What would that say about our faith in the system; or for that matter, about the character and integrity of those who make up that system? What would it do for their credibility on the world stage when not one person this government is supposed to govern shows up to vote?
I have always held that Donald Trump entered into the political arena simply because the GOP voters were becoming tired of the same candidates over and over again. I always thought he was thrown in as a wild card, a loose cannon who could feed of the disenchantment of the Republican voters, and say and to things that would play to their deepest fears and concerns. I still hold that belief, and I can’t believe how many suckers fell for it, proving P.T. Barnum right, “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
Yet recently I was made aware of another interesting fact regarding Trump’s entrance into the political arena. A lifetime ago for some, but when we invaded and liberated Iraq we told the Iraqi’s, (that is our government told them), that for any free and open election to be considered legitimate at least 50% of the total population must participate in choosing their new government.
That set the standard for an election’s legitimacy…50% of the people participating in it.
What I had not been aware of is that voter turnout among registered voters in America was sliding dangerously close to that 50% benchmark, and if it slipped below that 50% then, by their own words, any election held in the U.S. would be considered illegitimate.
So they had to do something to increase voter turnout; to fire up the voters so to speak. So along comes Donald Trump; someone the GOP could rally behind, and someone who the Democrats were sure to hate; ensuring large voter turnouts and continued public participation; either in support of or in opposition to Trump. This whole impeachment hearing nonsense is a continuation of that ploy; something designed to give the masses the belief that their side is fighting for them, when in reality all it is, is a circus sideshow designed to keep the two sides fighting each other, and generate a huge turnout at the polls in 2020.
I just wonder what’s gonna happen in 2024 when Trump becomes ineligible to run for re-election; who will they toss into the mix to keep the sheep involved?
It’s all bread and circuses folks. All these political scandals, mixed together with healthy doses of sporting events and other modes of entertainment; designed for a single purpose…
To keep you from seeing that big red, white and blue dick that’s been shoved up your ass!
