As some of you may have noticed, I have been unusually silent for the past couple weeks. It is not that I no longer care about what is going on in this country, rather it is the fact that I no longer feel that anything I do or say is going to make a difference. Call me pessimistic if you will but I feel our nation has been set upon a course and, at this point in time, there is little to nothing that anyone can do to alter that course. The way I see it, America is now on auto pilot with a course laid in to its own ruin, while the passengers in the back remain completely unaware of what lies ahead.
I could be wrong, there may be a grand awakening, however I don’t see it from where I sit. Much of how I feel is based solely upon my own personal interaction with people on a day to day basis. I realize that across the nation there are large numbers of people who are finally beginning understand that those elected to represent them in government have betrayed them; but the question remains, is it too little too late?
The web of betrayal and deceit by our government, and those behind the scenes who control them, is so complex and intertwined that I find it difficult, if not impossible, to try and explain, or trace it back to those who are truly in power. Nonetheless it exists and if one were to take the time to investigate it they would see that, for a very long time now, our government has been bought and paid for, and hence, controlled by a select few who care little for your liberty or your personal well-being, you are merely serfs to keep the machine running while filling their pockets with plundered wealth.
Yet the minute you mention this a good number of Americans simply shut down and refuse to even consider that what you are telling them may be the truth. They cannot believe that anything so monstrous and diabolical could happen in America. You know, motivational speaker Wayne Dyer once said, “The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don’t know anything about. ”
The average American truly believes that if something so evil were to exist they would have heard about it on the news. The problem with that belief is that the media is complicit, they are owned and controlled by the same people who own and control our government. Yet over the course of our nation’s history various members of government have given us hints that the things I say are true. The problem is, as J. Edgar Hoover once said, ” The individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists.”
These people, this shadow government, work under the cover of darkness and secrecy. It wasn’t until recently that their activities began to be exposed. Yet those who had minds open enough to accept these truths were immediately branded as conspiracy nuts whose beliefs were not worthy of any serious attention.
Yet in 1913 Woodrow Wilson clearly stated ” Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”
Former Mayor of New York, John Hylan, once said, “The Real menace of our republic is this invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy length over city, state, and nation. Like the octopus of real life, it operates under cover of a self created screen. At the head of this octopus are the Rockefeller Standard Oil interests and a small group of powerful banking houses generally referred to as international bankers. The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both political parties.”
But that’s not all. Abraham Lincoln, whom I despise for most of his treachery during office, is quoted as saying, “The money power preys on the nation in times of peace, and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. It denounces, as public enemies, all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes.”
Even though Woodrow Wilson was aware of this he still signed the Federal Reserve Act, placing us in abject slavery to the banks. Later he would regret his actions, saying, “A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the Nation and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the world – no longer a Government of free opinion no longer a Government by conviction and vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of small groups of dominant men….”
As I said, it is difficult to explain the treachery that has brought us to this point, but I can say that our government, as has the media and our institutions of higher learning have been infiltrated by members of the Council on Foreign Relations. On the surface the CFR is simply a think tank to provide guidance on foreign affairs, yet the truth is they are the ones who direct policy in our government.
Former Democratic Representative John Rarick declared, “The Council on Foreign Relations is “the establishment.” Not only does it have influence and power in key decision-making positions at the highest levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also announces and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify the high level decisions for converting the U.S. from a sovereign Constitutional Republic into a servile member state of a one-world dictatorship.”
As previously stated, aside from the e-mails I get and the posts I read on Facebook, I don’t know what is happening in the minds of Americans across the nation. All I can use as a reference to gauge the American people are the people I come into contact with on a daily basis, and what I see is discouraging at best.
I don’t know who Ian Williams Goddard is, but in looking for quotes I ran across something he said which I am in complete agreement with. Goddard said, “A society whose citizens refuse to see and investigate the facts, who refuse to believe that their government and the media will routinely lie to them and fabricate a reality contrary to verifiable facts, is a society that chooses and deserves the Police State Dictatorship that it’s going to get.”
Helen Keller once said, ” Science may have found a cure for most evils; but it has found no remedy for the worst of them all – the apathy of human beings. ” Or, as Thomas Paine declared, ” To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead. ”
This nation sits where it sits because of all the sum choices we have made when electing people to represent us. We have allowed ourselves to be divided along political party lines, differing ideologies, but both intent upon bringing this nation to its knees in order to facilitate a One World Government.
Our founders warned us of the dangers of aligning ourselves with political parties. George Washington stated, ” However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.”
Thomas Jefferson also declared, ” I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever, in religion, in philosophy, in politics or in anything else, where I was capable of thinking for myself. Such an addiction is the last degradation of a free and moral agent. If I could not go to Heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all.”
Yet here we sit, the Republicans blaming the Democrats and the Democrats blaming the Republicans, while the people walk around with their heads buried in the sand, or up a certain bodily orifice.
IN 1944 Norman Mattoon Thomas, a member of the socialist party, stated, ” The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation without knowing how it happened. ”
During World War II, Benito Mussolini aptly defined what could be the Republican Party platform when he said, ” Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.”
Although it is our government which has sold its collective soul to the devil, so to speak, I hold the American people ultimately accountable for the state of affairs in this nation, as they have become lazy and apathetic and refuse to seek out the truth for themselves.
In his Notes on the State of Virginia, Thomas Jefferson said, ” It is the manners and spirit of a people which preserve a republic in vigor. A degeneracy in these is a canker which soon eats to the heart of its laws and constitution.”
Our nation has lost its way and we now stumble about like so many drunken sheep, being herded along, played as fools because of our staunch alliance to our respective political parties, and our fear and emotions over our security and well being. Tell the average person this though and they will laugh at you, saying they are perfectly capable of thinking for themselves. Yet present them with facts, irrefutable evidence, and they ignore you and brand you a conspiracy nut.
In 1775 Patrick Henry uttered the immortal words which each American today needs to take to heart, ” Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.
Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”
However, for the most part I do not see this happening, and I, for one, am tiring of repeating myself to people who refuse to take the time to educate themselves. I am not a nanny whose job is to spoon feed them the truth, and I have no intentions of continuing to do so when they refuse to take some initiative of their own.
I know that in response to this I will undoubtedly be presented with the Samuel Adams quote, “It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people’s minds.”
That may very well be true, but I don’t see the outrage the treachery of our government deserves. I don’t see the people, en masse demanding justice…or else. All I see is a people who still cling to a system that has been so corrupted that it has become destructive of the purpose for which it was intended, that being to safeguard our liberty.
I still get outraged at events as I see them transpire, but what am I to do when the vast number of Americans have become so complacent that they simply turn on their favorite TV show instead of getting mad? Besides, each of these new laws enacted to curtail our liberty are but symptoms of a much larger problem, and as long as people refuse to look past the symptoms towards the disease, then nothing will ever change. And as I do not see a greater number of people who understand what is truly wrong in this country, I do not care to waste my time upon those who rebuke the truth when it is handed to them on a silver platter.
So, if you don’t hear from me in awhile, at least now you’ll know why.
