I don’t expect a reply, in fact I am just rattling his cage a bit. But it was fun to write, and it would be interesting if he actually does send a reply.
The current state of affairs in our country is constantly on my mind. As one who has spent a great deal of time reading the writings of our founders and articles concerning current events, I would hope that you would take a few moments from your busy schedule to consider what I am about to say.
I have read numerous articles, and done quite a bit of research regarding certain, so-called, conspiracy theories about the CFR and the push for a New World Order. Many of these articles claim that all elected officials are mere puppets, controlled by groups such as the CFR and the Bilderbergers. But, for the sake of this letter I will give you the benefit of the doubt and take you at your word that you are what you say you are, a true conservative.
If that is the case then how could you, and by you I mean Republicans in general, have been so blind and foolish? Allow me to explain why I say that.
On the eve of the election I was watching NBC News as the results came in. In their coverage Chuck Todd and Brian Williams kept mentioning two things. First, that the Democrats had their plan of attack for the election down to a science, and secondly it all came down to demographics.
If you want my honest opinion, since 1986 the Republican Party has slowly been committing suicide, and for all intents and purposes as of Nov. 6, 2012 the GOP is dead.
In 1986 President Ronald Reagan signed into law the Simpson-Mazzoli Bill, otherwise known as the Immigration Reform and Control Act, (IRCA). As Chuck Todd said, the Democrats understood the changing demographics in this country and used it to their advantage. They realized that a majority of the immigrants that now come to the United States predominantly vote Democratic. With the steady influx, for the past 26 years, of illegal aliens from south of the border, and their so-called anchor babies, the Democrats voting base has grown exponentially, while the Republicans voting base has, at best, remained the same.
In regards to IRCA, Senator Ted Kennedy stated, “This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this.” Yet since that time an estimated 40 million illegal aliens have entered this country, with the resulting effect of the Democrats gaining an almost unbeatable base when it comes to presidential elections.
During NBC’s coverage of the election Chuck Todd hinted that traditional GOP strongholds may eventually become Democrat strongholds simply due to an increase in the number of Latino voters.
Why is it then that under 8 years of George Bush’s presidency he pandered to PresidenteVicinte Fox and refused to take any serious measures to secure our nation’s border, and seek out and deport illegal aliens already within our borders?
My God, couldn’t the GOP see what they were doing to themselves by allowing all these illegal aliens to stay in this country and raise all these future Democrat voters? The GOP had access to all the same data that the Democrats used to plan their campaign. Couldn’t they see the statistics from the census as to the expanding Latino, and other minority groups who, for the most part, ALWAYS vote Democrat?
My honest opinion is that you guys screwed the pooch on this and you will be very lucky to ever see a Republican sitting in the Oval Office again. Sure you may be able to hold on to a slight majority in the House, but the Presidency is probably beyond your reach, as is the Senate.
So, for all intents and purposes, the Republican Party is dead, and you brought it upon yourselves.
So, if there is no truth to these conspiracy theories about the push for a North American Union and a New World Order, the GOP is, at best, inept and unable to see the truth when it is right in front of them. It’s either that, or the conspiracy theorists are correct and you are working hand in hand with the Democrats to bring about the eventual downfall of our republic.
The jury is still out on that as far as I’m concerned, but regardless of what the truth is, the GOP has basically committed political suicide. And because of it our country will suffer. I certainly hope you are happy with yourselves.
